The structural steel framing is engineered for sustained Category 5 winds and roof anchors are specified for uplift resistance in hurricane zones. Unlike the structures that failed during Maria, the system doesn't rely on timber or materials that deform or collapse under extreme wind loads.

Yes. AAC's thermal mass reduces cooling loads by keeping interiors cooler passively. In Puerto Rico's climate, this translates into lower electricity consumption — a critical factor given the cost and vulnerability of the island's grid.

AAC has very low moisture absorption and galvanized steel resists tropical humidity. Unlike conventional block that absorbs water and promotes mold, the system maintains its structural and thermal properties in Puerto Rico's warm, humid climate without degrading.

Yes. Puerto Rico adopts international codes (IBC/IRC) with local amendments. The system is documented to meet those standards, including the island's specific seismic and wind requirements.

Very resistant. AAC has low capillary absorption and doesn't accumulate water internally, so intense rain cycles followed by heat don't damage it. Unlike conventional block, it doesn't crack from thermal expansion or lose compressive strength over time under those conditions.
