Framecrete in Puerto Rico
Hurricane-resilient steel-and-AAC construction for Puerto Rico — engineered for an island still rebuilding toward a higher standard of resilience.
About
01 / 07Why build with Framecrete here.
Puerto Rico's recovery from repeated major hurricanes has made resilience non-negotiable, not aspirational. Framecrete pairs engineered steel framing with inorganic AAC — built to withstand Category 5 winds, resist humidity and mold, and reduce what's vulnerable the next time a storm makes landfall.

Engineered to last

By the numbers
02 / 07A proven system, delivered at scale.
Local conditions
03 / 07Engineered for Puerto Rico
The same system, tuned to what this market actually demands of a building.
Hurricane exposure
Puerto Rico sits squarely in the Atlantic hurricane belt. Engineered steel framing and dense AAC are specified for high-wind resilience.
Grid & supply disruption
Storms routinely disrupt power and material supply chains. A durable, low-maintenance envelope reduces what can fail or need replacing after the next event.
Coastal heat & humidity
Year-round heat and humidity wear down ordinary materials. AAC's thermal mass and inorganic composition resist moisture, mold, and heat gain.
The system
04 / 07Steel framing + Framecrete AAC.
Two engineered layers: precision light-gauge steel carries the structure, white Framecrete AAC encloses and insulates it.

Intelligent Steel Framing
We use advanced 3D digital models to engineer high-tensile, light gauge steel framing. Each high-strength piece arrives at the site pre-cut, pre-punched, and ready for quick assembly, providing a strong, precise, and flexible structure.

AAC Panels
We enclose the steel frame with large, lightweight Framecrete Autoclaved Aerated Concrete panels. Featuring a patented super-smooth exterior finish, these panels offer excellent insulation while being significantly lighter than traditional concrete.

Questions
06 / 07Everything you're wondering.
The precision, off-site-manufactured system assembles roughly 40% faster than traditional block or concrete — shortening programs from months into weeks.
Yes. The AAC + steel system is engineered for Category 5 wind loads and seismic movement, and Framecrete AAC is mineral and non-combustible.
It typically lowers structural cost by around 30% and cuts lifetime cooling bills through AAC insulation. Use the calculator above for an estimate, or contact us for a project-specific quote.
Autoclaved aerated concrete has been trusted worldwide for over a century. We engineer it specifically for tropical, coastal conditions.
Across the Caribbean and Latin America, with international sourcing and engineering behind every project.
